I have never been to your practice, and I have a toothache. What should I do?

Contact us today on 02380 332255. As your emergency dentist in Southampton, we will assist you without delay, regardless of whether you are registered with another dentist.

How much will my emergency appointment cost?

There is no additional charge for emergency appointments; however, there is a minimum fee of £150 due on the day. For example, if you require root canal treatment, you will be charged £150 for your emergency appointment (which covers procedures like opening the pulp for drainage, x-rays, prescriptions, etc.). This emergency fee will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment.

I am exempt from paying NHS dentist fees. Can I have an emergency appointment free of charge at Ferry Dental Centre?

As a private dental practice not funded by the government, we are unable to offer NHS exemptions. Therefore, you will need to pay our standard fees for any emergency or regular appointment.

I have lost a crown or a bridge. What will the cost be to re-cement it?

The cost to re-cement a crown or bridge is £150.

I have an abscess, what should I do?

We will examine you, take any necessary X-rays and drain the infection from the tooth and abscess, which will incur the minimum emergency charge of £150.

Antibiotics will also be prescribed.

I am in pain, but I work 9 to 5. When can I visit you?
