Before starting your whitening treatment, our dentist will perform a thorough examination to determine if you’re a suitable candidate. During your consultation, we’ll talk about your whitening goals to create a customised program tailored to your specific needs.

Teeth whitening treatment journey

Your teeth whitening journey at Ferry Dental Centre involves two simple appointments:

1. Consultation and scan for custom trays: In your first appointment, our dentist will conduct a thorough consultation and take a 3D impression of your mouth to create your custom-made whitening trays.
2. Receiving your trays: Around 7 to 10 days later, you’ll return to pick up your trays. At this appointment, you’ll also receive the whitening gel and guidance on how to use them.
3. Start to brighten: Once you have your trays, you can begin using them every day or night for as long as you desire. Most patients achieve their desired shade before using all the gel provided, and you can save any remaining gel for future touch-ups.
4. Top-up whitening syringes: If you need additional syringes for any of our whitening systems, you can purchase them from our practice, but a consultation is required due to UK regulations.
5. Whitening false teeth: If you have restored front teeth (such as fillings, crowns, or veneers), we can help you replace them with whiter options. Just contact us to arrange a consultation appointment. It’s important to note that whitening will not change the colour of any existing dental restorations.
