Studies show that everyday food can help whiten teeth over time.

Take a look at these few foods which suggest so. 


Dark chocolate

contains theobromine which helps harden the enamel surface of teeth. This in turn helps to prevent staining.

Green tea

contains tannins which prevent staining because they stop bacteria sticking to the teeth.


contain malic acid which can clean stains off the teeth


increases the pH level in the mouth making it less acidic, meaning the chances of discolouration and tooth erosion is lowered. The calcium in cheese can also contribute to stronger, healthier teeth.
